About Tim
I am a former I.T. engineer who switched to teaching English in 2014. After deciding to switch careers, I travelled to Thailand to study for a TEFL qualification. Upon successful completion of my studies, I stayed in Thailand for the next 2 years and worked both online, and in classroom. After 2 years I moved to Vietnam and lived in a small regional capital city teaching English at a language centres, online, and at local schools. I have worked with learners of all ages, and am quickly able to build strong friendships with my students.

My teaching method varies depending on the English abilities of the students. I believe in listening to and understanding my students, so that I am better able to help them reach their goals. I often use elements from both synchronous and asynchronous teaching methodologies so that the student is learning when we are having class, and also completing their own research outside of our class.
