About Capucine
I have been a French tutor for over a year and have successfully helped students attain their goals in French. I have also been tutoring children since I was 17 and helped them do their homework or practice music. Where I have experience working with young children, I have also previously worked with teenagers and adults looking to enhance their skills in French. Finally, I was a volunteer at Firbeck Primary school in Nottingham and had the opportunity to assist them in their journey to learn how to read. The skills I learned throughout this experience have consistently allowed me to perfect my expertise as a French tutor.

As a tutor, my main goal is to try and figure out what my student is interested in, whether it's about finding out what their hobby is or what they would like to learn to say in French. In my experience, one is a lot more likely to make progress in a foreign language when their curiosity of the language is cultivated. That is why I believe basing my lessons on what they are interested in is a good way to enhance their comprehension, writing or oral skills. Furthermore, I try to speak French for most of my lessons, when the participant is able to understand me, in order to improve their oral comprehension capacities.
