About Maria
With 25 years of experience tutoring English, I have prepared more than 20 students for admission to top-20 world universities (MIT, Harvard, Oxford, Nanyang and so).
Today, I moved further and help teens build their perfect English and career paths by combining strenuous language practice with the acquisition of extra skills, utility, and fun. I believe time is far too precious in 2026 to devote 60 minutes to just language mastering, so it’s useful to comprise it with IT skills.
Why choose my lessons?
1. Time Efficiency:
I believe time is far too precious in the digital age to devote 60 minutes to just language mastering.
2. Dual Benefits:
We combine intensive English practice with the acquisition of essential IT and modern career skills.
3. Future-Proof Learning:
Your child learns to think, communicate, and work in English like a global professional.Let's unlock your child's full potential and open the doors to global opportunities!

Our students (aged 10-17) master English by building real IT startups from scratch. Theory and vocabulary are immediately applied as students design their own apps and websites, ensuring every hour is spent on practical, results-driven development.
The program combines English and IT through:
• Professional Tech Literacy: Mastery of modern business and development terminology through immediate, practical application.
• Fluent Communication: Breaking the language barrier by running project meetings and managing tasks strictly in English.
• Global Mentorship: Real-world experience analyzing international tech trends under the direct guidance of MIT students and alumni.
• Tangible Portfolio: A functional mobile app or website designed in Figma and built using zero-code tools.
• Public Speaking Excellence: Intensive pitching practice to confidently present and defend finished products before an American judging panel at the MIT Blueprint competition.
Admission requires an English test. If the child's English is weak, we provide extra catch-up lessons.

I like that we both practice AI Systems Design and Product Management and boost our English in class. We first learn new terms and concepts, then weave English grammar into IT exercises. Thus we get both new knowledge on Scrum, for instance how to allocate tasks within a team, or some Figma hacks, and while we learn about these hacks, we use the new vocabulary & grammar in texts and discussions. What we have covered so far includes integrating generative AI modules via third-party APIs, low-code/no-code prototype deployment, functional QA testing, and product metrics tracking (LTV, retention rate).
We are working on MVP system architecture decomposition now. I have mastered the following skills: how to analyze core product requirements, establish boundaries for a minimum viable product, and map out the logical interconnection of system modules.
I like it practical. We do not just learn theory. We have exercises in IT: architecting user-system sequence interaction steps, configuring basic REST API requests for external generative AI services, and building responsive layout wireframes in Figma using strict color-blocking grid rules. My son, 11 y.o. has been studying for 2 months now. I love his changes.
THE BUSINESS THINKING:
My son started asking entirely different questions at the table like: "What’s your customer lifetime value?", "How do you retain clients?", or "How do you get feedback?". He discusses the features he’s planning to develop and asks what I think of them. He shows me his designs and asks for my feedback. I feel like I’m needed again.
THE PROGRAM BROUGHT US CLOSER WITH MY TEEN:
He actively seeks out information, evaluation of his work, and discussions about my experience. He comes over to consult, asks about my logic and decisions, and there's this newfound understanding and respect in his eyes.
THE LANGUAGE:
Language-wise, he’s started speaking English much more confidently and faster; overall, he’s become more focused and disciplined. His eyes look confident when he speaks English.
My main point is that he has gained this unprecedented confidence in English—he genuinely speaks better and faster when we're on vacation.
TEAMWORK & MANAGEMENT SKILLS:
It’s crucial for me that my son has teamwork practice. That gives him much advancement: achieving things and scaling are harder when alone.
Teamwork is actually the toughest part for him since he had 0 prior experience with it. He gets noticeably tired of managing others, but it’s a necessary skill. The younger you study the better, I love him experimenting and getting used to managing teams. Now he’s come to understand my work exhaustion and looks at me differently. He asks what I do when people let me down, what my control methods are, and how I meet deadlines. We sort of reunited and made a new team with my teen.
THE IT PART:
I don’t really dive deep into or understand what they’re technically doing in their IT stuff. He is trying, doing tasks, we’ll see in hackathons. The designs he draws make sense, colorblocking is good.
HOMEWORK ATTITUDE CHANGED:
He is eager to get to his lessons and does his homework with genuine excitement, something no other teachers could ever achieve.
THE KOREAN APPROACH INFLUENCE:
Maria combined choice approaches from the most successful academic cultures. I love that the training follows the South Korean system - as it was explained to me, a concurrent goal is to instill a habit in the child to independently track down and gather additional information on top of what they cover in the accelerator tasks.
He googles extra things, reads up on topics outside the curriculum on his own, and consults with us.
GETTING USED TO REAL WORLD:
He’s starting to learn how this world works.
He has become stronger, more powerful himself—it’s something you can just feel in the air, even if I can't quite put it into words.View more recommendations
