About Evelyn
My name is Evelyn and I am incredibly passionate about English - I am even doing a degree in it! I am an undergraduate and so still have very fresh experience from English examination processes - I received two 9 grades in my English Literature and English Language GCSE and a top band A* in my English Literature A-level, and am studying English Literature at the University of Bristol.

I believe in tailoring every class to the student's needs, as we all work, learn and flourish differently. Being a teacher is about understanding how each student ticks and the best way to nurture their intelligence. Lessons will typically be for an hour but can certainly go over that if that is what is necessary for learning! Depending on the level, whether it be primary, GCSE or A-level, each lesson will look different and be structured differently. I believe in productive, engaging and conversational learning as well as physical question and answer practice, so will encourage my students to engage in discussions about the subject matter and their opinions, teaching them to hone their thought processes and channel that into their exams (particularly for GCSE and A-level).
