About Sam
I recently completed a Master's degree in English Literary Studies at the University of Exeter, where I also obtained a 2:1 degree in English. In addition to this, I studied A Level English Literature at school and received an A. I have always been passionate about writing and reading, and I believe enthusiasm played a key role in my academic improvement. Essay writing did not come naturally at first, but once I discovered the technique that worked for me, I saw real progress. I want to inspire you to enjoy literature too, because a genuine interest, combined with the right technique, can help you develop thoughtful analysis and improve your grades at school.

My lessons are aimed at KS3 and English Literature GCSE students. I intend to start by finding out what text or topic you are studying, followed by a short knowledge quiz to assess areas of improvement. I promise to answer any queries as soon as possible outside of tutoring sessions, so that each session is focused and tailored to your needs. I have some experience in schools, and I am currently studying a postgraduate qualification in education.
