About Wren
I have been tutoring privately for over five years, and also have experience working in schools to support students with SEN and EAL. My experience teaching and tutoring has confirmed my love for teaching, and I hope to continue to help students thrive within education. Moreover, I understand that a large classroom setting is not necessarily best for every student, and I thrive in my lessons to create an environment that feels exciting and supportive. I am a First-Class English Literature Graduate from the University of Cambridge, and I have recently completed my Master's in Philosophy. I am currently studying for my PhD in English at the University of Cambridge. I have an enhanced DBS, and I have safeguarding training.

I offer one hour lessons, tutoring English Literature and Language, to students at Primary School, Secondary School and Sixth Form. I teach lessons both one-on-one and in small groups. I have experience tutoring English Literature and Language, History, Sociology, and Philosophy, as well as providing personalised support for University Applications including Oxbridge Interview preparation, Personal Statement writing, and IELTS preparation. I tailor my lessons to each student's individual needs, interests, and ability with an emphasis on building the foundational skills that will enable a student to truly thrive. Tuition offers students the unique chance to access personalised feedback and support, and I pride myself on my ability to plan lessons and curricula for all students.
