About James
As someone with a passion for education, I believe that one-on-one lessons are key for a student's growth and for their success in state examinations. I have a passion for these subjects, which is why I put extra time and effort into making lesson plans and engaging with students. I believe that secondary education is important, and that every student deserves a chance to succeed in the leaving-cert and junior-cert – which is why I charge a small fee for my classes. I always put time and effort into each individual student in order to figure out a learning process and pedagogy that works best for them.

I work with students to craft first-grade essays for specific exam questions, as well as go through different areas of the syllabus to ensure a good understanding of general concepts that are likely to come up. Lessons typically last for one hour, although this can be changed. I have tutored several Leaving Cert students to H1s. These lessons are for secondary-school students in any year. I teach both ordinary-level and higher-level students.
