About Charlie
My name is Charlie. I am 21 years old and currently a student at Cambridge University reading English Literature. I believe that 1 on 1 teaching is increasingly rare for students to come by yet it is also the most effective means for improving your academic abilities in the shortest amount of time.
In the course of my tutoring I hope to pass on the same enthusiasm that allowed me to succeed by providing thorough and stimulating perspectives and exercises on writing that will help sharpen your skills and hone your literary senses.

I believe the best approach for teaching English is one that focuses on a practical engagement with literature. In my lessons (which normally last for 1 hour) we will go over texts pertinent to your current reading/writing level and improve the skills that we identity are in need of a touching up. I will also provide unseen texts and questions intended to simulate standard exam conditions to introduce the practice of reading in a timed and pressured environment. I will also shape the material and process of my teaching to better accommodate whatever you require.
I teach up to A-level in English and GCSE for Latin.
