About Georgina
I am a student at the University of Birmingham and have always been passionate about reading and analysis of literature. I aim to bring excitement and interest to whatever area the student is studying as I myself have been through English GCSE and A-Level examinations and have always achieved an A* grade. Therefore, I can relate to the often trying process of examinations and work through these difficulties with the student to reassure them and aid them in their preparation.

My teaching methodology is based mostly on the discussion of literature, which I believe is the most useful tool for engaging a student in literature. This is a subject that is based on opinion and personal readings of texts and therefore the most important thing is engaging how the student feels about the text. Furthermore, I will be leaning on past papers and ask students to often do some work to bring to the lesson. I also believe in secondary reading around the topic, so will suggest other optional reading too.
