About Alicia
I have a First Class Honours MA in English Literature from Edinburgh University. My teaching experience includes tutoring for two highly regarded companies in London, JD Consultancy and Bonas MacFarlane, with whom I have worked for a number of months. I also have varied experience tutoring and nannying for families with children aged between 6 and 16.

My teaching method relies heavily on a constant dialogue exchange between student and tutor, as I don't believe it is helpful for students pre-university to be taught in a lecture type style. My experience demonstrates that by encouraging students to continually voice their opinions and any queries they might have, their progress and understanding are dramatically increased. I like to use interactive exercises to explain new concepts and ideas.
