I am a writer and editor who loves all books, from childhood favourites to modern classics. My own children read widely for pleasure, because I instilled in them a passion for books, and a way of talking about them. I know how to make reading exciting, and I know how to give someone the tools they need to get good grades in the school system.

I aim to ensure firstly that a student learns to enjoy reading and thinking about books, so that learning how to triumph in examinations then becomes much easier. I can bring out that enthusiasm, and then train students in the exam techniques they will need.
Lessons are either 30 or 45 minutes, depending on need.
I can teach any child from 10 to 18.
