About Nicole
I am currently an Postgrad student at UCT (University of Cape Town), majoring in English Literature, minor in Philosophy. During my undergrad I held my focus to English Literature, Philosophy and Linguistics. I completed Matric with an 87% average in English, and got 98% for my final English P3 exam. I have a genuine passion for the subject, and teaching as a whole. Looking forward to hearing from you!

My teaching method is learner-focused. This means that the manner with which we attack our work is based on the learners specific capabilities, strengths and weaknesses.
I will ask students, occasionally, to write short assignments so I can get a scope of their level of understanding . From here, I will focus on fixing the smaller mistakes, and polishing their basic understanding. I find that while a lot of people can speak English, they struggle with it in its written form. When this issue is eradicated, marks tend to improve.
