About Eleanor
My younger brother often struggled with English, and I would sit down with him and help him learn to read, realising how much I would love to continue to teach English.
I also volunteered in a school for children with severe additional needs, and lead reading lessons for them. This taught me great patience and experience in teaching children, those with additional needs, and lessons in reading.

I achieved an A* at GCSE in both English Literature and English Language, placing second in my academic year. I absolutely adore reading and understand how difficult English can be for some students. I aim to provide a relaxed environment to enjoy English studies. I studied the AQA exam board.
To help students achieve their best, lessons can be structured to suit the student. This entails focussing on the aspects of the GCSE course the student may find most difficult.
I also wish to help younger children develop an interest in English, particularly those in Primary School and Pre-GCSE. I offer lessons and support in reading and writing. This can be tailored to the current topic the student may be studying.
