About Jonathan
When I was in my mid 20's I moved to a different continent and while that was exciting it was also daunting. I had to adapt to a new culture and face challenges as a migrant, finding work and pursuing a career path.
I did this by becoming an English teacher, then slowly moving onto exam preparation for IELTS and I enjoyed doing this because I wanted to help people overcome these hurdles. I wanted to bring out the confidence and ability that people have in themselves and see them overcome the barriers placed in front of them. Also what is notable about IELTS is that it can provoke some very interesting insights and discussions on whats going on in the world we live in!

Hi, I've been preparing people of all ages and backgrounds to feel confident and comfortable with their IELTS exams, whether that be for studying at university abroad or even for relocating with family.
I will teach you the most effective ways to approach the exam, tips on how to manage the time you have while doing the exam and will keep things fresh and interesting. My lessons are 1 hour in length with additional homework assignments and feedback.
I am a London born British teacher with 15 years experience of teaching English and exam preparation, having taught in South America and I am based in the UK. CELTA certified.
My lessons are primarily for intermediate + at all ages, 1-2 people class capacity.
