About Marija
My name is Marija Mitrović. I graduated and obtained my MA diploma in English language from Belgrade University Faculty of Philology. I also obtained the Proficiency Certificate at the British Council Belgrade. In 2005 I went to London to perfect my knowledge of English. I have excellent PC skills (MS Word, Excel, Power Point) and I can use the Internet well.
I have been working as a teacher for 12 years. I worked in primary schools, high schools, private language schools and in Serbian Army. I do my job conscientiously, dedicatedly, precisely and professionally. I love teaching and working with students. Therefore, I think that my work in your school would be a new advancement in my professional career on the other hand you would get a reliable and good employee.

I use communicative approach. When learners are involved in real communication, their natural strategies for language acquisition will be used, and this will allow them to learn to use the language.
Example
Practising question forms by asking learners to find out personal information about their colleagues is an example of the communicative approach, as it involves meaningful communication.
In the classroom
Classroom activities guided by the communicative approach are characterised by trying to produce meaningful and real communication, at all levels. As a result there may be more emphasis on skills than systems, lessons are more learner-centred, and there may be use of authentic materials.
