About Kirsty
This is my first time being a tutor, however feel it is the perfect opportunity for me as an English language and linguistics student at the University of Sheffield. I am passionate for English and achieved a grade 8 in English language at GCSE and a grade 7 in English literature. I continued this study onto A-level and achieved a grade B and further onto University, which I am currently in my first year. I throughly enjoy creative writing, however can help with an amalgamation of topics, such as close text analysis or translating difficult texts such as Shakespeare. I am friendly, approachable and eager to help others thrive.

I am currently studying English as a first year student at the University of Sheffield and feel as though my lessons would be most appropriate for A-level/ GCSE level students. My approach as a tutor is to make lessons fun and as enjoyable as possible (which shouldn't be hard when learning about something as fascinating as the English language) and I aim to make students fall in love with English just as much as I did. I try to make difficult topics easier and be as approachable and friendly as possible.
