About Selene
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and have 9 years of teaching experience working with students from different backgrounds and skill levels. My interest in English began with a strong love for reading and storytelling, which gradually developed into a passion for teaching and helping others communicate effectively.
My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and real-life application. I explain language concepts in simple ways so students can understand and use them confidently. I use conversations, writing exercises, and reading activities to make learning interactive and meaningful. I also adjust my teaching style based on each student’s pace and comfort level to create a positive learning experience.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading books, writing, and exploring different forms of communication. Teaching English is very rewarding because I see students grow in confidence and expression over time. Helping them achieve their goals motivates me to continue teaching with dedication and enthusiasm.

Learning English becomes more meaningful when students focus on understanding how to use the language in real situations instead of only memorizing rules. My lessons are designed to build strong skills in speaking, writing, reading, and listening through clear and simple explanations. I guide students step by step so they can understand sentence formation, vocabulary usage, and grammar in a practical way. I also include conversation practice, reading activities, and writing exercises to help students express their ideas clearly. Each session is interactive and supportive, allowing students to learn comfortably and build confidence over time.
I organize my lessons based on each student’s level and goals to ensure steady and balanced progress. Beginners focus on basic vocabulary, simple sentences, and everyday communication. Intermediate learners work on grammar accuracy, paragraph writing, and reading comprehension. Advanced students focus on fluent speaking, advanced writing, and effective communication in different contexts. Practice exercises, feedback sessions, and revision activities are included to support continuous improvement.
English lessons also help students develop confidence, clarity of thought, and better communication skills. As they improve, they become more comfortable expressing themselves in both spoken and written forms. Many learners find English helpful for academic, professional, and personal growth. My goal is to make English learning engaging, practical, and confidence-building for every student.
