About Emma
My name is Emma and I am an English graduate from The University of Nottingham. I have always had a passion for English and I want to help inspire and encourage students to achieve their full potential in the subject. If you, or your child, are finding English challenging, I am offering tailored, private lessons online. Having studied English language and literature at The University of Nottingham, I have a passion for English, and would love to help inspire you to achieve your best in your upcoming GCSEs or A-levels. Our sessions will supplement your teaching at school, and will be entirely tailored to your needs. For example, I can help you with your homework, or go over things you have found challenging in school lessons. Perhaps you have never got the hang of semi colons? Or, want to brush up on your literary devices? I know the GCSE and A-level mark schemes and exam layouts inside out for AQA, OCR, Edexcel and WJEC, so I can offer excellent exam prep and tips to push you to those higher grade boundaries. I offer a free 30 minute session so that we can get to know each other, discuss your primary texts, and plan what you want to work on in upcoming sessions. I am friendly, encouraging and love to chat about English, so we will have a great time! Don't hesitate to get in touch with any questions!
