My lessons are usually an hour, and discussion-based, aiming at making students think more deeply about the author's purpose and the effect of the text as well as engaging with the writing. In addition to this, having discussed the ideas we then move on to some writing and essay-planning with in-lesson feedback. I am flexible to adapt lesson plans to the student's needs. The lessons are for students from 15-18, who are working towards sitting exams in English Language or Literature at GCSE or A-level. I have 50+ hours of experience tutoring students at both GCSE and A-level stages.
