Looking for individual non-native speaking students or small familiar groups of non-native speakers (children or adults) to take through relaxed, low-stress sessions. Having been on both sides of language tutoring during my time in China, I came to find that students learn best when comfortable. Classes can be tailored to fit the specific desires of students (e.g. focus on reading, focus on essay writing, focus on conversation abilities). My classes tend to take on a looser format, allowing us to follow our intuition and explore areas of the language as they naturally arise without being shackled to a rigid schedule. My classes aim to be a collaboration between tutor and student in which the student can take as much (or as little) responsibility for the direction of the class as they see fit.
