About Sierra
I am an aspiring English teacher and both a Bachelors Degree in English at WSUV, 3+ years of experience as a SPED Paraeducator, and a Masters degree and certificate in Teaching. Most of my education for how to teach was centered around middle, high school, and college aged students, but I am confident I can work with elementary students as well.

My methods are tailored to individual students or groups. They usually center around helping the student enjoy reading and writing and making the process easier and less stress inducing so that they will have a better experience with either/both subjects in the future. I also try and help students get used to the idea of drafts and, once finishing a draft, putting it away for a few hours and not worrying about it to make sure you can look at it in the future with fresh eyes and a better ability to edit their own writing.
