About Sasha
I’m now an English graduate at Oxford University, studying the English 1830-1914 MSt course - I have found that there is always so much more to learn and to do with literature, and love bringing my own passion and interests into my teaching! I have previously taught students in group sessions, on a 1:1 basis and volunteered at my local primary school to help students with their handwriting, so am used to all ages, abilities and goals. I have found teaching to be such a rewarding experience, building not only the confidence and abilities of my students, but allowing them to fall in love with a subject that I myself have found so much joy in!

I tailor my teaching style to individual clients, having taught various students of all ages and abilities in 3 years of tutoring. I make individual lesson plans, so that my teaching can align with school curriculums, tests or particular goals. Having achieved top grades in my English GCSEs, English literature A-level, and successfully applied to Cambridge for a bachelor’s degree and Oxford for a masters, I have recent and personal experience of how to tackle school curriculums for English, make competitive applications and write consistently great essays. I also provide lesson logs so that progress is tracked and I work with utter transparency. Most importantly though, I bring fun and a genuine passion to my teaching - I absolutely love English, and inspire the same enthusiasm in my students. Getting the best out of students comes not only from hard work, but also a willingness to put the hours in!
