I am a fourth year English Literature and Philosophy student seeking to become a tutor to high school students, and to help prepare them for post-secondary level essay writing. I want to help students to find their voice and write confidently, clearly, and passionately.

My teaching methodology consists in reading a short story or poem and teaching high school students how to analyze the text and write a focused, clear and powerfully written thesis and essay on the chosen work. My main focus is in teaching students how to pay attention to detail, think critically, and write with clarity.
