About Niki
I performed as an actress in Children's Theatre for a decade, taking a break to spend a year as an au pair in the US and China.
On return to South Africa, I also freelanced as an On-Set Childminder in the Johannesburg Film Industry.
I became a drama coach, before training hundreds of people to teach drama in schools across Johannesburg, Pretoria, and Cape Town.
Once again, I took a break to spend some time in Mauritius, working with children at a holiday club and learning some basic French for six months.
I now tutor full time at a Homeschool center in Johannesburg for 25 hours a week. I specialise in English, Afrikaans, and Drama for F.E.T., and can teach almost any subject in Grades 9 and under, excluding Maths.

As an experienced Educational Theatre performer, my kids say I add a unique dramatic flair to my literature lessons.
I approach a novel or script like a performer, with my own quirky style to keep the kids laughing and on their toes while learning.
I can deliver the lessons in English or Afrikaans. I also speak some beginner French, so I may be of assistance to a French learner whose English is not great (as long as they don't mind my very English accent and quirky grammar in French).
