About Jimbo
I have completed Masters in Aerospace, Environmental and Energy Engineering. I have about five years previous experience tutoring on a one-on-one basis and teaching lessons to secondary school pupils teaching maths and physics. I've taught all over South Yorkshire in schools. I think my experience of using maths and physics gives me a wealth of "real-world" examples of subjects in use for two subjects which can be seen as dry and abstract.

I want to know any problems my students are having with topics so I can explain and show my pupils how to overcome these problems. I think an easy conversation followed by me explaining the methodology is my most successful approach. Followed up with some questions and perhaps a few slightly more challenging problems to solve! If students are happy to accept homework I'm happy to prepare that which is something I like to go over at the start of my subsequent lessons along with any problems they are having with topics.
