About DANTE
I am a computer science graduate and currently an undergraduate studying for a 4-year degree in engineering. I have deepened my understanding of mathematics by studying the processes used to determine common approaches to mathematical problems(i.e. proofs of theorems). I would now like to share that knowledge to aid those who are intimidated by the thought of memorizing equations that will need to be applied elsewhere.

If you would like to understand mathematics on a deeper level than simply memorizing equations, then I am the tutor for you. Simply memorizing equations may work for passing your tests, but cementing that knowledge for long-term use is most effectively performed, in my experience, by understanding the theorems used to determine the equations we often use. My lessons are most specifically tailored to future engineers and other career professions that largely rely on Mathematics after the completion of the math portions of their programs.
For a typical lesson, a student will present ahead of time what it is they would like to understand more deeply. I will gather the appropriate materials, effective examples, and real world applications to demonstrate the reasoning and effects of theorems. I will assist students in working through these examples so they understand how to apply the technique and have an opportunity to see it functions as intended. Following the conclusion of a lesson plan, additional resources will be provided to satisfy any residual curiosity and display more advanced applications of the lesson's subjects if desired or necessary.
