About Shreya
Hi, I'm Shreya and I'm passionate about maths which is why I decided to pursue a career that uses it a lot! I know that the sudden jump from GCSE to A-level maths can be challenging for many students. There are new styles of questions and harder topics that can take time to understand. Throughout my studies, I gained an understanding of where to look for resources and the variety of different methods and techniques used to solve problems. This allowed me to achieve an A* in Maths and gave me the skill set to continue to Further Maths. I want to use my passion for maths and my experience from having sat these exams and helping other students at my school to help more people.
Different students will benefit from methods of tutoring so I can adapt to provide as little or as much support as needed, whether that's covering entire topics or going through and giving model solutions to questions a student might be struggling with.

I am most familiar with the OCR and AQA exam boards but can cover the content for any exam board. I will only be able to offer further maths support for core pure and mechanics modules.
Qualifications: received A levels in A* Maths (2022), A in Further Maths(2023), have some experience mentoring students at GCSE level.
Education: Altrincham Grammar School for Girls (secondary and sixth form), currently an aerospace engineering undergraduate student at the University of Sheffield.
Typical lesson length: 1-hour lessons
(am flexible to longer or shorter sessions depending on the student's requirements and availability.)
Availability: Can do weekends and most evenings. Evening availability can be further discussed.

Shreya is a very patient and knowledgeable tutor, who always takes her her time to ensure I understand all the topics. She is also well prepared for each lesson and has a history of doing very well in maths based subjects.
