My goal is to make sure students understand their course material, so that they can approach their assignments and tests with more confidence. As a final year engineering student, I have had my fair share of challenging assignments and exams. I have also taken university level physics, biology, English, and mathematics. I can offer students some tips on how to study effectively, as well as advice on how to manage their time. A study technique that has helped me immensely is the "traffic light" system, and the idea behind this method is to prioritize areas of a subject which the student does not know or understand at all, and these would be the "red light" topics. This ensures that time is not wasted reviewing topics that the student understands well("green light" topics).
