About Emily
I have enjoyed studying mathematics from a young age and love to spread that passion to friends, family and now tutees! It’s inspiring to help students develop their maths knowledge and overcome problems they initially faced. I have over 2 years of tutoring experience and currently have 3 regular students - I’m looking to help more students now!

I am happy to tailor my maths lessons to whatever my students need! This can range from help with homework to preparation for a variety of different maths tests. I am also keen to help students learn the basics of mathematics and then build their knowledge upwards. I studied GCSE Edexcel Mathematics which I achieved a 9 in. I then studied A-Level Edexcel Mathematics and Further Mathematics which I achieved an A* and A in. I am now entering my second year at the University of Bristol studying Engineering Mathematics. The course is made up of mathematics, physics and computing modules. I also took the 11+ years ago so understand how that process works! I have over 3 years of consistent maths tutoring experience. In year 12, I volunteered at a local school to tutor students about to take their Maths GCSE. I have been working at a mathematics tuition centre for 2 years throughout my A-Levels where I have tutored nursery students through to GCSE students. I now tutor students regularly online. I also have two younger siblings who I often help with their maths homework and preparation for their tests! I regularly check in with the parents and inform them of the progress their child is making. I contact the student ahead of each lesson to discuss what they’d like to work on in their lesson.
