About Kaylee
I am from Cincinnati, Ohio and currently I am a senior at the University of Louisville Speed School of Engineering where I am studying bioengineering with a minor in computer science. I also am a cheerleader for the University of Louisville, and a student success ambassador at the school – so being a leader and giving advice is nothing new to me. I have experience tutoring in all middle school subjects, but can tutor from middle school to high school in math and science. I am very comfortable in these subjects as I have taken countless calculus classes, rigorous science classes and then applied all of this knowledge as an intern at Cincinnati Children’s hospital!

I have previous experience tutoring in 8th and 9th grade math, science, history, and English! Typically I like to go over problems and examples that students are given in their classes at school, ask how their teachers explained it, and ask what is most confusing for them. I want to give a different perspective and clear things up in a way that I wish I had when I was younger. I have a passion for math and science as a current engineering student, and even if the students I get to work with do not have this same passion, I hope to give them a better grasp on the subjects than when we started. I really enjoy seeing things click with students, and I love keeping a casual, conversational environment with students that keeps them engaged and relaxed.
