Computer Science student at University of Michigan with a Minor in Mathematics from the College of Engineering. - courses taken include Data Structures & Algorithms, Multivariable calculus, and physics 1. I have a strong memory of the topics covered in regular and AP/IB classes in high school, relating to computer science, calculus, and physics. I have strong skills in Java, C++, and Python for those who seek introduction to computer science tutoring.

My teaching methods: I can work with both clarifying a concept and teaching a new concept completely. I try to take a bottom-up approach, making sure the student has a mastery of the foundation surrounding a concept before diving into the concept. A good example of this is testing a student's understanding of limits before explaining the derivative to them in calculus. A typical lesson plan would vary depending on the student and their requirements. Ideally, I'd like to spend most time working through examples to see how a concept applies, but am willing to include theoretical explanations of topics in case a student is missing a key idea. Lessons are for students needing help in Math (Pre-calculus and Calculus), Computer Science (up to data structures and algorithms), and Physics (Physics 1 aka AP Physics C)
