About Kashika
I am a graduate from a top high school (Thomas Jefferson High School of Science and Technology) and received a 1570 on my SATs with a perfect 800 in math with minimal tutoring. I currently attend a T-50 college where I have maintained an almost perfect GPA while balancing extracurriculars and part time jobs. I have previously tutored professionally at Mathnasium for multiple years before having to leave for my summer internship. I am extremely professional and can assure you of my skills in mathematics and other subjects.

I will first have to gauge where the student is in terms of their abilities and where they would like to be. Once that has been established, I will start most lessons out by providing a basic explanation of what we are learning and then letting the student practice. I have found that allowing students to practice a lot but also be monitored while doing it is the most effective way to have them learn. As a student still in college, this knowledge is all still fresh in my head and I have an idea of what is applicable and what is not which sets me apart from other tutors!
