About Chloe
Hi, I’m Chloe! I am currently pursuing a degree in Biological and Agricultural Engineering at Texas A&M University. In high school, I was actively involved in Math UIL and Mu Alpha Theta competitions, played flute, and tutored! I was also proud to be a part of National Honor Society and a Top 10 Scholar, and additionally have experience with AP tests and the SAT.

My experience in math includes Algebra 1 and 2, Precalculus, Calculus 1, 2, and 3, and Differential Equations. I have been tutoring for 7 years and am specialized in algebra and calculus, but have also taught beginner chemistry. Most of my tutoring experience has been one-on-one with high school students, where I helped them work through their homework and conducted test reviews. When working with students one-on-one, I initially like to work through a problem with them and lead them through the thought process behind every step, then give them a similar question to attempt on their own. From there, we can identify what parts they are struggling with the most and focus our efforts there! Math can be challenging when it feels as if you are blindly going through the motions without any purpose, so I like to relate questions to the real world and draw pictures to give students something tangible to think about. My goal is to make sure that even if a student sees a problem and doesn’t immediately know what to do, I have given them the tools to take their best shot at it!
