About Edgar
I am an Engineering student at the University of Nottingham with an A in A-Level Maths, and I find immense reward in helping students transform their academic challenges into successes. One of my most rewarding moments was tutoring a student who was initially struggling with algebra; by breaking it down into manageable steps and using relatable examples, they not only improved their grade but also gained the confidence to actively participate in class. This experience underscores my passion for making a real difference.
Over the past nine months, I have worked with over a dozen GCSE students, helping them to not only improve their predicted grades but also develop lasting confidence in Maths, Science, and English. My goal is to build a genuine understanding of the subject, turning perceived weaknesses into strengths.
