About Anupa
I'm a dedicated student who loves learning. I had initially quite some difficulty in the sciences due to the quality of teaching in my secondary school. However, after a lot of hard work, I learnt to love the sciences, especially Maths and Physics. These are the subjects that led me to pursue an education in engineering.
Throughout my GCSE and A level years, I have experienced being tutored and know the perspective of a student in these lessons very well. I believe that good communication between the tutor and the tutee is essential in providing them with the best experience. I will listen to the concerns of my students and prepare lessons and material to suit their weaker areas. All my lessons are planned out in advance to ensure any topics which the student wants help with are addressed before any exams. In order to do this, I have an incredibly flexible schedule.

My lessons are customised to fit my student's needs and preferences. I recommend lessons which are 1, 1.5 and 2 hours long but I could do sessions as long as you'd like. I typically use an online sketch pad which is shared with my students that allow them to interact with my drawings.
I've enjoyed maths and physics throughout my school years and subsequently received 4 A*s at A Levels which included Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science. My Maths and Further Maths qualifications included all of the optional mechanics and statistics modules as well as all of the pure maths modules and so I am able to teach each of these areas. Physics is my favorite subject and I'm very comfortable teaching this as well.
I also help students prepare for the Oxford PAT exam, which is required for students who hope to study Physics, Engineering or Materials Science at Oxford. Past this, I give sessions on preparing for interviews.
