About Huaihou
Hello! I am Apollo, a 2023 IB graduate pursuing a degree in biomedical engineering at Imperial College London.
I am passionate about teaching and communicating difficult concepts to others. Of course, IB is a hard journey. During my years of study, I faced many setbacks and unexpectancies. However, I made through it with a final grade 42/45. More importantly, I have gained invaluable experiences through this journey.
This is why I want to become a tutor; to help you navigate through the IB and move one step further to your dream college.

Lessons tailored to students currently on their 1st & 2nd year journey of IB, or prospective DP students who wish to build a solid foundation in STEM to excel in IB.
Throughout the year of high school and byond, I accumulated ample experiences in teaching STEM subjects to junior students through role such as tutor, teaching assistance, and leader of school's academic programme.
A typical lesson will last about 1 hour. In the initial contact we will be locating the areas you need help with, and then zoom in to tackle the problems. For students new to DP, I will first introduce the course framework. You will gain understandings of what to expect in your subjects so that you could excel in your future learning. Selected learning materials and excercises will be available according to the student's need.
