About Lucas
I am a French engineering student specialising in renewable energy. I am currently doing my Master's thesis at UNSW. Tutoring is something I really enjoy, it's important to me that the student understands what he's doing rather than just rushing to the result. In my experience, understanding the process and having a good way of thinking is crucial for successful and interesting study. I'm really easy going and patient, and I don't hesitate to rephrase in case of misunderstanding.
Outside of my studies, I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, climbing and just enjoying the moment.

My lessons start with a review of the course content, followed by solving exercises with a strong focus on the approach and methods of solving, making sure the student understands how to apply the concepts. I end the lesson with a review of the methods and key points to remember.
I have three years' experience of tutoring at university level. I helped the teacher to assist the students during practice sessions and I was also assigned to two students that I followed and helped for a whole year for all engineering classes, making sure that they passed their 1st year.
I can teach at any level from middle school to 3rd year engineering studies, for people from 14 to 22 years old.
