About Guy
I recently graduated from the University of Birmingham with a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering. I achieved A* in my Maths GCSE and A-Level, as well as Further Maths A-Level. At A-Level, I received full marks in all core mathematics modules (C1, C2, C3, C4), as well as Mechanics 2&3 (M2, M3).
I have been giving formal lessons since December 2020, but I have tutored family and friends for years. I coached kids as well as teens in basketball for 4 years so I have a lot of experience with younger children as well.
I am fluent in English and Hebrew.

I teach up to A-Level material in maths, further maths, and statistics.
I am a friendly and patient person who can help students with topics they struggle with, general homework, and exam preparations. I have a very successful record with the GCSE and A-Level formats. In my lessons, I like going through a lot of example questions as I find that the student can stay more engaged when they are actively working rather than passively listening.
I prefer trying to help students actually understand the material and its applications, rather than step by step instructions of how to answer questions as I find that the student will be more prepared for questions with formats they are not familiar with. However, I adjust my teaching styles in order to help the student achieve as high a grade as they can.
I am well educated about learning difficulties such as ADHD and can tailor my lessons accordingly.

Perfect! Guy is a very personable and friendly tutor. He is very knowledgeable in all levels of Maths, hence, enabling him to not only teach the traditional methods but using other methods and finding ways to make Maths more easily understood. He is also very patient and understanding with any individual's needs.
