About Kyungjin
Hello! My name is Jinny, and I am a native Korean tutor currently based in Gold Coast.
I have over 5 years of professional experience working as a
math tutor/fitness coach in Korea. Through this experience, I developed strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex ideas in a clear and structured way.
I also have over 2 years of global technical support engineer experience, where I communicated with international clients in English on a daily basis. I bring this same approach into my tutoring to ensure that students feel confident and supported in their learning.
I love to witness my students accomplish their goals, whether it's going to university, improving skills or just simply having fun learning new things!

When I was studying, I used to tutor my colleagues. From there, I have developed insights on how to tutor and guide people. My goal is not just to make students understand the theory but also help them to use and utilize practically in real-life occasions.
I have multiple years of experience in teaching math, English, and Korean.
My teaching style focuses on clarity, real understanding, and active participation. Based on the student’s needs, whether it's building strong fundamentals or improving confidence in Korean or problem-solving in math, I will provide you structural lessons!!
For Korean,
I can give you two different lessons (Or both also! haha)
1. Practical, real-life convo
2. Fundamental
For Mathematics,
I emphasize step-by-step understanding and logical thinking. As a person that dislikes memorizing formulas, I help students understand why concepts work, which improves long-term performance and confidence.
I also use clear explanations in English, which is especially helpful for beginners.
**Lesson Structure & Duration**
A typical lesson runs for 30 minutes, but I can offer flexible durations (45–90 minutes) depending on the student’s preference.
Each lesson usually includes:
* Review of previous material
* Introduction of new concepts
* Guided practice
* Feedback and Q&A
**Qualifications & Experience**
I am a native Korean speaker with over 5 years of professional experience working as a tutor/coach in Korea. I also communicated with international clients in English daily.
I have also supported learners by breaking down difficult concepts into simple, understandable steps, which translates well into both language and math tutoring.
