About Misha
I’m Misha, A-Level and GCSE Maths tutor, MEng (Leeds). I work with a small number of students so lessons are fully tailored. Sessions blend concise explanations with exam-style practice, mark-scheme language and timing strategies. I use a simple Model-Assess-Practise-Assess cycle to check progress and build confidence. Friendly, structured and flexible support from GCSE to AS and A2 mastery.

Every student learns in a slightly different way which is why I purposefully keep the number of students low so that I can really find the way each student learns best. The teaching methodology will normally depend on proximity to exams etc but I'll often start with a warm-up/recap of a few questions we did in the previous session before moving on to the next topic. One-hour lessons are ok but I generally prefer teaching 2 hours at a time as I think it gives the pupil a chance to get in the zone and hammer home any concept we've been going over.
