About Eliza
My name is Eliza, I am 25 years old and am currently living in London and about to start training to become a secondary school maths teacher.
I have worked as a software analyst for the last 3 years and have a Chemical Engineering degree from Cambridge University.
I understand that for many students, maths and science can be some of the trickiest subjects at school and I want to help students enjoy and succeed in these subjects as much as I have!

My teaching sessions will be very interactive and will focus on using past exam questions to understand each aspect of the curriculum and to make sure students are prepared for exactly the type of questions they will get.
The length of the lessons can be flexible but ideally will last sometime between 30 minutes and 1 hour to ensure maximum retention of information.
I studied Chemical Engineering at Cambridge University for 4 years from 2017-2021. Prior to that I took Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry A-Levels and received 4 A*s. I have been working in a corporate software job for the last 3 years and am about to start training to become a secondary school maths teacher.
I have lots of experience tutoring for ages ranging from Year 7 up to A-Level. This has included some short-term intense tutoring (1-3 months) but also long-term tutoring (3 years).
I can provide lessons for any age from Year 7 to A-Level and can tailor the lessons to any ability.
