About Lewis
My name is Lewis J Robertson, and I’m a Computer Science student based in Liverpool. I’ve always had a strong passion for computers, technology, and problem-solving, which is why I enjoy helping others understand these subjects in a clear and engaging way. Outside of my studies, I like to keep active with hobbies such as golf, football, and skiing. I’m originally from sunny Blackpool and at 20 years old, I’m enthusiastic about sharing my knowledge while also making learning as enjoyable and approachable as possible.

I design my lessons to be clear, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs. In both Mathematics and Computer Science, I focus on building a strong foundation of core concepts before moving into problem-solving and application. Each session typically begins with a short recap or warm-up activity, followed by step-by-step teaching of new material, guided practice, and independent work to build confidence. I encourage students to think aloud and explain their reasoning, as this helps deepen understanding and reveal areas that need support. My teaching style is interactive and adaptable: I use real world examples, visual aids, and mini-projects to make abstract ideas more engaging. Above all, I aim to create a supportive environment where mistakes are seen as part of the learning process, and progress comes from consistent practice and curiosity.
