About Kimberley
I have been a tutor in Maths and English for children from the age of four to eighteen years of age and have been doing so for three years, privately and within the Explore Learning Centre. Furthermore, I have worked with children with a variety of special educational needs and have helped them fulfill their potential, exceeding their expected targets.

I am a very friendly and approachable tutor and find building a bond with each student is the first step towards excellent progress. As I am experienced in tutoring a very wide range of ages, I am familiar with the curriculum and will use this to help direct the student to specific content. Each lesson will focus on a new topic, usually related to what they have been learning in class. If they are above target, I identify resources which will help them extend their knowledge and understanding further -hence improving accuracy. It’s especially important to keep the lessons fun and engaging so I like to keep the lessons upbeat and relaxed, making sure all the work is completed!
