About Umut
I am a First-Class Honours graduate in Business Management from Queen Mary University of London, with a strong academic background in finance, marketing, human resources, and management. Throughout my studies, I developed not only subject expertise but also a real passion for supporting others in their learning journey. I have experience teaching and explaining complex topics such as cash flow, balance sheets, income statements, and business strategy in a clear and structured way. My goal as a tutor is to make lessons engaging and accessible by using practical examples, PowerPoint resources, and interactive discussions. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my approach to their individual needs, whether they are aiming to build confidence, improve exam results, or deepen their understanding of business concepts. I am enthusiastic about teaching because I believe Business is not just a school subject—it is a skill for life. I offer online Business lessons for GCSE and BTEC students, with sessions lasting 1 to 2 hours depending on individual needs. My lessons combine clear explanations with engaging resources such as PowerPoint slides, real-world case studies, and interactive discussions. I guide students step by step through key topics including Finance (cash flow, balance sheets, income statements), Marketing, Human Resource Management, and Business Operations. Having recently graduated with First-Class Honours in Business Management from Queen Mary University of London, I bring both strong subject knowledge and a supportive teaching style. My lessons are designed to build confidence, improve exam technique, and help students apply theory to practice in a way that feels simple and manageable.
