About Ross
I’m Ross, an ex-professional footballer for Bristol Rovers, who is now at Exeter University studying BSc Economics and Finance. Back in my football days, I was a goalkeeper for the club, starting all the way back from 10 years old. I rose through the ranks, signed my first 2 year pro contract at 16 - then, following making the squad for the first time ever a week before, I was released at 18. While upsetting, I did not fear, as I had also achieved a grade 9, 8 and 7 in GCSE Maths, stats and Further Maths, as well as a grade A in A-level Maths, which allowed me to go to university instead. To this day, my hobbies still include football (I’m not as good as I used to be), gym, dj-ing and golf, and I love to be active and get outside when I can. My friends say I’m funny, my mum says I’m smart, and my grandmother has told me ‘you are a very handsome young man’ for the past 8 years. Personally, I just like to make people happy and fulfilled - and I like to think I know a thing or 2 about mathematics!

These lessons are designed for GCSE students taking Maths, Stats or Further Maths, as this is my area of expertise.
