About Abby
Hello! My name is Abby. I currently teach first and second grade students in an elementary school. I am also a part-time tutor teaching students from pre-K to 12th grade in person at a tutoring center where I teach a variety of subjects, as well as study skills.
I currently hold a Master's degree in Elementary Education and a teaching certification in the state of Pennsylvania. I also have experience teaching Pre-Algebra and Algebra through my time as a tutor.
I have a passion for teaching. I am super inclusive to people of all ages, walks of life, and identities. I would love for you to give me the opportunity to help you reach your own goals!

I have always had a love for math. When I teach math, I like to approach problems and lessons like puzzles. We will work, piece by piece, to reach our solution and be able to see how everything comes together in the bigger picture. I'm basically a big fan of showing how different concepts are all related to each other. I am also very open to differentiating to meet each person's own learning style.
