About Avalyn
I have been working in an elementary school, serving grades K-6. Currently, I work with 5th and 3rd grade as a Teacher's Assistant. This position includes working one-on-one with children, in small groups, and with entire classes. I am very diverse in my teaching style and believe that not all kids learn the same way. After teaching for over a year now, I have become well-adapted to many teaching styles and can teach in the way best suited to your child.

I carry with me teaching experience in the elementary school level, a typical lesson plan for me would be a simple warm up with what I taught last time or a familiar subject, the move on into for difficult topics, always ending with something easy to end on a good note. my teaching method is very adaptable as I have learned that students have many different learning styles that impact them the most. My lessons typically are more catered towards elementary level students and lower middle school.
