I am a Certified Elementary Education Teacher (NJ K-8) with over 30 years of experience teaching Reading, Language Arts, and Math. My honors include Franklin School Teacher of the Year, NJ Governor's Recognition for Outstanding Teaching, Character Education Director, and Greater Somerset County YMCA Leader. I have expertise in technology, research, and best practices in education. I am a parent and grandparent. I look forward to helping students in grades K-8 achieve their highest goals with kindness, patience, and commitment to service. After an assessment of skills, I will develop a learning plan and outline learning strategies. Interventions and practice may include visual, auditory, and tactile methods depending on the learning style of the student. Lessons are individualized and supported by my expertise in technology, research, and best practices in education. As a Superprof tutor, I will guide my students to master grade-level skills, develop study habits, and gain confidence and joy in learning.
