About Olivia
I am a rising fourth year at TCNJ (The College of New Jersey) studying to become a teacher, specifically a STEM teacher. I have completed multiple internships in a classroom setting as well as preparing my own lessons and units. I have experience tutoring at home with family members, and at school through volunteer work.

A straightforward, yet comfortable approach that makes math and science enjoyable and less anxiety inducing. a traditional lesson would start with a review of what they have learned, followed by supplemental instruction with practice (in the form of games or worksheets). Additional practice will be given to try on their own. I have developed practice exams and assisted students and saw a significant increase (at least 4-5 points per exam) in their test scores and comfortability with the materials. Elementary school students to middle school students would benefit from this.
