About Heather
I'm different than your average tutor because I have a deep understanding and working knowledge of cognitive development, especially in early childhood and elementary ages. I'm an elementary and special education major so teaching and working with children is my passion. I want to be able to help students of all backgrounds, learning abilities, and ages do and be their best.

I approach teaching with a lot of patience. I. I like to start from the simpler concepts and provide scaffolding for the students to develop deeper and more meaningful understanding.
